Ben Schaller of Omaha finally got the breakthrough SLMR series win he has been looking for as he won the $2,000 to win Malvernbank.com SLMR feature at the Adams County Speedway on Saturday, August 20. Paul Glendenning of Mt. Ayr, Iowa was finished second, Corey Zeitner third, Bill Leighton, Jr. fourth and Brian Kosiski fifth. There were 23 SLMR cars in attendance.

Following the races at Adams County Speedway Bill Leighton, Jr. has a 12 point lead over Kyle Berck (1,130 to 1,118) Ben Schaller is third with 1,072 points, Corey Zeitner is fourth with 1,022 and Brian Kosiski fifth with 958. The Malvernbank.com SLMR Series returns to action on Saturday, August 27 at the Junction Motor Speedway in McCool Junction and then heads to US30 Speedway near Columbus on Sunday, August 28 for a $2,000 to win event.
