Pospisil, Corey Zeitner take wins on Northern Swing
The Malvernbank SLMR Series kicked off their Northern Swing on Friday, July 31 with the series first ever visit to the Rapid Speedway in Rock Rapids, Iowa. 19 cars made the call including local driver Nick and Nate Beyenhof. Corey Zeitner got the jump on the field at the drop of the green but by mid-race Tad Pospisil had reeled Zeitner in and made the pass that proved to the winning move the race.
Zeitner would later tangle with a lapped car and retire with a broken tie rod. Following Pospisil to the checkers were Nick Beyenhof, Bill Leighton, Jr., Ben Schaller and Kyle Berck.

On Saturday night, the Malvernbank.com SLMR Series invaded the bullring of Raceway Park in Jefferson, South Dakota and this time Corey Zeitner had better luck. Zeitner jumped into the lead at the drop of the green and held off the late race charge of Kyle Berck to pick up the win. Following Zeitner and Berck to the line were Matt Buller, Brian Kosiski and Nate Beyenhof. 19 cars were in attendance.

Following the two races Tad Pospisil continues to lead the Race to the Safe point standings with 762 points followed by Kyle Berck with 734, Bill Leighton at 730, Matt Buller 702 and Ben Schaller 694.
The series returns to action on Saturday, August 15 at the Adams County Speedway in Corning, Iowa in another Super Series race paying $2,000 to win thanks to the added money posted by the Malvernbank.com.
