The Malvernbank SLMR Series finished out the month of August with two events on the last weekend of the month. The first was on Saturday, August, 29 at the Junction Motor Speedway where Tad Pospisil picked up the win followed by Kyle Berck, Josh Krug, Bill Leighton, Jr. and Ben Schaller. 21 SLMR Late Models were on hand.

On Sunday night August 30, the Malvernbank.com SLMR Series invaded the US30 Speedway just west of Columbus with 21 cars in attendance. Ben Schaller grabbed the early lead and as the race was approaching the halfway point Schaller broke sending his car into the wall. The accident collected second running Josh Krug as well as point lead Tad Pospisil. Kyle Berck who was battling Pospisil at the time snuck through the accident taking the lead.
Berck went on to win the event followed by Bill Leighton, Jr., Matt Buller, Corey Zeitner and Jim Johnson. As a result of the US finish Kyle Berck took over the point lead with 1,030 points. Tad Pospisil and Bill Leighton, Jr. are tied for second with 1,014 followed by Matt Buller at 948 and Ben Schaller at 936.

The series returns to action on Saturday, September 12 at the Junction Motor Speedway in Super Series race paying $2,000 to win thanks to the added money from Aurora Agronomy. The race WILL BE a non-points event.
