Tad Pospisil and Corey Zeitner picked up wins as the 2015 Malvernbank.com SLMR Series 2015 season finally got underway. At I-80 Speedway on Friday, June 5, Pospisil started second and drove away from the field with only a late caution bunching up the field to give second place runner Kyle Berck a shot at the 04, but on the restart Pospisil pulled away to pick up the win. Following Pospisil and Berck were Josh Krug (from 11th), Bill Leighton, Jr. and Ben Schaller.The following contingencies were awarded:

RC Whitwall – Keyser Manufacturing/Port City Heat 2 winner
Ben Schaller – Keizer wheels/Wilwood Brakes Heat 3 winner
Kyle Berck – I-80 Speedway Heat 4 winner

Ben Schaller – VP Fuels Top Points Earner
Leon Zeitner – Action Signs Last Man In Award
Mike Marushak – Roth Racing Hard Luck Award

The Following night the SLMR Series traveled to the Adams County Speedway in Corning , Iowa where Corey Zeitner started on the pole and stayed there to pick up the win. Following Zeitner to the line were
RC Whitwall, Tad Pospisil, Josh Krug and Ben Schaller. The following contingencies were awarded:

Both the races at I-80 Speedway and the Adams County Speedway were Super Series races paying $2,000 to win. The Malvernbank.com SLMR Series and the Super Series points are identical after the two events, the top five being: Tad Pospisil 194, Josh Krug 186, Kyle Berck 184, RC Whitwall 182 and Ben Schaller 180.
The next event for the series is another back-to-back weekend, first on Saturday, June 20 at the Junction Motor Speedway and then on Sunday, June 21 out west to the Dawson County Raceway in Lexington.
