Knoxville Awaits
This Saturday night, September 15th, the series will make its debut visit to the famed Knoxville Raceway. The Mobile Tech 22 is an invitational race that will pay $4,000 to-win. The second highest paying race on the schedule. The race format will be similar to the Lucas Oil portion of the Knoxville Nationals. Drivers will earn points for time trials and finishing position in the heat race to determine the starting line-up for the 22-lap main event. There will be no passing points awarded in the heat race, just finishing points. After the heats the high points earner will flip a coin to decide whether to invert the top 4 in points for the feature line-up. Heads, they will line-up heads up and tails, the top 4 will be invert. All 30 cars that received an invitation will start the feature.
