Pospisil passes Buller late in the race to take win at the Junction
Malvern Bank Series point leader Tad Pospisil of Norfolk passed race leader Matt Buller late in the race to win the 25 lap feature at the Junction Motor Speedway Saturday night. Buller held on for second followed by Brian Kosiski, Bill Leighton, Jr. (from 18th to 4th) and Kyle Berck. Heats went to Buller, Pospisil and Brian Kosiski with Andrew Kosiski winning the consolation event. 26 Malvern Bank Late Models were on hand.
Following the event Pospisil now holds a 38 point lead over Berck (1,328 to 1,290) with Corey Zeitner third at 1,252, Bill Leighton, Jr. fourth at 1,250 and Jesse Sobbing rounding out the top five at 1,238.
The series is off until Friday, September 8 when they head to Eagle Raceway for the Nebraska Cup and then the following day (September 9) to the Off Road Speedway for the Bob Haase Memorial.
