Berck wins at Adams County Speedway
“The Marquette Missile” Kyle Berck posted his 72nd career Malvern Bank Super Late Model feature win on Saturday in taking the 25 lap feature at the Adams County Speedway in Corning, Iowa. Thanks to Malvern Bank, Berck picked up $2,000 for the win. Following Berck to the line were Bill Leighton, Jr., Tad Pospisil, Jesse Sobbing and Nate Beyenhof.
Heat races went to Bill Leighton, Jr., Jesse Sobbing, Kyle Berck and Josh Krug. Sterling Perkins won the consolation event. 28 cars were in attendance. Following the Adams County feature the top five in Malvern Bank Series points are Tad Pospisil 1,228 points, Kyle Berck 1,200, Corey Zeitner 1,164, Bill Leighton, Jr., 1,158 and Jesse Sobbing 1,154.
The next Malvern Bank Super Late Model event is Saturday, August 26 at the Junction Motor Speedway in McCool Junction, NE. Following that event the series has three remaining races, first on Friday, September 8 at Eagle Raceway, then on Saturday, September 9 at Off Road Speedway and the season finale on Saturday, September 30 at the I-80 Speedway for the Midwest Fall Brawl.
