Meet some of our Malvern Bank Super Late Model Drivers

Andrew Kosiski

Andrew continues the Kosiski tradition and has really stepped up to the plate the last couple of years achieving considerable success. In 2015, he won the Bragging Rights (Grand National) Late Model Championship at the Junction Motor Speedway. This helped Andrew claim the 2015 NASCAR Whelen All Americn Series Nebraska State Championship and the Late Model Bragging Rights Championship which included six Nebraska Tracks.

“We were pretty pleased with our 2015 season,” recalls Andrew Kosiski. “We won three of the fourt titles we went after and came up just eight points short of winning the I-80 Super Late Model Championship.”

In 2016 Andrew won his first ever SLMR series event on June 11 at the I-35 Speedway in Winston, Missouri and came with in an eyelash of winning the I-80 Super Late Model Championship, losing to Ben Schaller by just two points (one position). “We went into the Championship race thinking if we won the race, things would take care of themselves,” says Andrew. “We just came up one spot short.”

In 2016 Andrew’s sponsors included Certified Transmission, Select Auto, Kosiski Auto Parts, Jody’s Auto & Truck Sales, Lyle’s Tire & Wheels, Product Partners, Driven Racing Oil, Rod End Supply, VP Racing Fuel, Hoosier Racing Tire Midwest, Hooker Harness and Real Racing Wheels.

Look for Andrew to be in the thick of the race for the Malvern Bank Super Late Model Championship and the I-80 Championship again in 2017. He’s already got a jump on the competition with four races under his belt at the Wild West Shootout in Arizona back in January.
