Berck takes finale, wins SLMR Championship
An outstanding field of 46 Super Late Models checked in for the Malvernbank.com SLMR Series finale at I-80 Speedway on Saturday, as part of the Midwest Fall Brawl. Despite extra cars and five additional laps the result was pretty typical of an SLMR event as “the Marquette Missile” Kyle Berck claimed the win in the 30 lap feature and with it his fifth SLMR Championship.
Berck started on the front row and beat fellow front row starter Ben Sukup to the point. The drive of the night was that of Ben Schaller of Omaha. Schaller started 14th and was not far behind Berck when the checkers waved. Rounding out the top five were: Corey Zeitner, Justin Zeitner and Brian Kosiski.

Andrew Kosiski – Keyser Manufacturing/Port City Heat 2 winner
